All bots need some way to find Shopify products, so they use Keywords, ELs, and Variants. Keywords:
Slowest method used to pick up products, but also usually the safest.
Most common method used and will work on almost all releases.
Simply made up of positive and negative keywords that can be put into your bot.
Usually we will provide keywords that you can use.
Not all bots use the same keyword format. Some have you use a + in front of the keyword, others don't. SO MAKE SURE YOU KNOW THE PROPER FORMAT FOR YOUR BOT
ELs (Early Links):
Faster than keywords, but slower than variants.
Least common method used. Usually only used on Kith
Simply is an URL that can be put into your bot, it can also be used manually.
Variants:
Fastest method to pick up products
Not as common as keywords, but is frequently used on sites like ShopNiceKicks & Shoe Palace.
Each variant corresponds with one specific size.
Simply a string of numbers that can be put into your bot, or put into a custom URL and used manually.
Whenever available, variants will usually be posted in a google docs page along with our sitelist.
How to use variants manually.
If you are going manual on a site that already has variants loaded, it's imperative that you use them to your advantage
Find which size you want to go for and find the corresponding variant. (For this guide I will be using a size 8 AJ1 Mocha on Shoe Palace: (variant: 32715821416654)
Properly input the variant into a cart link for the site.
- Use this formula: https://SiteURLHere.com/cart/VariantHere:1
- The number at the end is for the quantity, usually you should have it at 1.
For my example I would type in: https://shoepalace.com/cart/32715821416654:1
and click enter
You will then get redirected to a checkout page with the OOS Product.
Bookmark the page and then go to edit your bookmark.
Edit the URL that you bookmarked and delete the part that says stock_error
and everything after that.
Save your new bookmark and start clicking it every few seconds before a release. Once the shoe drops you will be loaded right into checkout / given a checkpoint to solve, then loaded into checkout.
